It is my pleasure to introduce you to an inspiring, lovely woman, named Cindy Joseph. While I have never met Cindy personally, I have followed her story the last few years. She was my inspiration in putting down the hair dye and embracing my 50's.
Cindy worked as a makeup artist who was discovered by some top modeling agencies in her late forties. I would like to think this was truly a testament that our societal norms were beginning to change. Before she knew it she was a spokes person for many woman. Her message has always been for woman to embrace their age.

I wrote to Cindy's company asking if I could do a review on my blog and if they could send me some samples. They answered quite promptly and I received a nice box of products. I could not wait to try them all.

Boom Mask
The first product I tried was Boom Mask. The process was quite easy. I moistened my skin and applied a small amount of the mask on my clean face. I found that a little bit of this product goes along way. Once I spread it evenly all over my face, it looked as if I got a really bad sun tan. Don't worry the mask does not stain and it comes off with warm water very easily.
What I have not loved about other mask products is that they can actually hurt taking them off as they pull at the skin. I loved that Boom Mask did not turn hard and it did not feel like it was tearing at my skin like most masks. It did not tighten my skin. I could still talk and move my face around with ease. This product is all natural so there were no weird sensations or irritations for me.
I kept it on for 20 minutes as directed, in order to pull all the impurities out of my skin. After rinsing, there was no residue! It left my skin feeling so soft. I looked in the mirror to find my skin producing a dewy like glow.
"This deep penetrating facial mask will nourish and heal your skin while naturally and gently pulling impurities from your pores.There are no man made chemicals, fillers, Sodium Laurel Sulfate, parabens, palates or fragrances of any kind. We do no animal testing."

I do not know about you, but I have not always stopped to read the ingredients in lotions. As I aged, I became a bit wiser. I realized that the things we put on our body, can indeed affect us internally, even setting us up for some potential cancers.

Boom Stick Cotton is a facial moisturizer. We mature women are always looking for that perfect moisturizer. We NEED moisture for our skin more than anything else! We want our skin to feel soft and touchable. Boom Cotton did that for me!

Three Amazing Little BOOM Sticks
This is where I got really excited! I have never worn much makeup, but I have wanted something light that would enhance my skin tones. I did not want to look made up or take the time needed to do so! Convenient and quick was also on my wish list!
There are so many products out there, promising to make us mature woman look like we are 30. The thing is...we are not 30! If I am honest with myself... no amount of makeup will make me look 30!
THIS IS MY MOTTO!
I must accept my age with all the love in my heart and with a gratefulness and an appreciation for all that I have survived through. I am thankful for this moment in time. I do not have to feel defeated, as I age, thinking... I am not as valuable because I am no longer a young woman. I can however... embrace the wisdom I have found along the way and continue to care gently for the lovely body I have been given.
Using natural, organic, skin care products that nourish and take care of my skin can only make me feel better. I always thought it would be nice to find something that would give me that little boost of color. I yearned for a makeup that did not slip into my "wisdom lines" making them more prominent. A make up that would not cake on and make me look like one of those old scary dolls found in an antique shop.
Well I think I found what I have been looking for!
TA...... DA..... BOOM STICKS!
Boom Stick Glo is a great moisturizer and a great protector from outside elements. It can be used before applying Boom stick Color. This week I was watching my granddaughters and they love using my chap sticks, but I had replaced my chap stick with the Boom Stick Glo, as I wanted to give it a try this week. I felt good about letting them apply the Boom Stick Glo to their little lips as I knew it was all natural.
Moisture can be applied just where you need it...under the eyes, lips, really anywhere, and at anytime. The baby had a cold and an area under her nose was getting a little red. I took a Q- tip and applied a small amount to the reddened area. It worked amazingly.
I then applied the Boom Stick Color by putting a little on my eye lids and also on my cheeks. I then applied the Boom Stick color to my lips. I loved that it looked natural, giving me just a hint of color all over my face.
I added the Boom Stick Glimmer to my eye lids to give me a little POP! I used it to highlight my bone structure. It gave me a little luster on my skin, but not too much.
