Good Morning Family and Friends.
We hope this Sunday finds you well and your cup is running over. With the daylight savings time change I am a little thrown off kilter. Our dog Chrissy, who usually enjoys her morning walks, was still sleeping and wouldn't budge.
Normally I would be piddling in the garden by now, but it is still dark outside. Therefore, I thought that it might be a good time to get this review started.
Our review of the Panacea 83475 Vintage Rectangle Raised Garden Bed Planter will include a short blooper video. This is our first video and when you see it, all will become perfectly clear as to why we didn't get an instructional video recorded.
We took more time trying to get this video off the ground due to all the bloopers and laughing. We finally gave up and this was the end result in all its glory.
*I am thinking there is a market out there for bloopers only...we are sure to have a great start!*

You have to be able to laugh at yourself. Attitude is almost more important than what happens to you.

We want to give a big shout out to all the "youtubers" who find the courage to share their passions and who do such an awesome job. We are keeping our eye on ya'll and taking it all in.
We have included our blooper video at the end of this blog just for fun!

The Panacea 83475 Galvanized Raised Garden Planter
We began looking for some raised beds that would fit our needs. Imagine how happy we were to find these raised garden beds at our local Tractor supply company. They were made from galvanized steel. They were also the right shape, style, and size to fit our tiny garden. There were only a few boxes left so we bought the last three. Through some research we noticed that Amazon carries them as well. We did look on the Tractor Supply web site but did not find this type of planter box listed, so we could not add a link for you. We have provided the link to Amazon below. We threw in the link to Tractor Supply as well, as they do have some awesome gardening supplies, and other raised beds to pick from.
We were pleasantly surprised to see how easy these raised beds were to put together. They not only looked great, but felt very sturdy.

Our Five Reasons Why We Chose Raised Beds
1- We are not spring chickens so to save our backs and knees, we felt the raised beds were the way to go.
2- There are some cute little furry critters called rabbits that sometimes make their way into our yard. We hope that the raised beds will deter them a HARE...pun intended. We do realize Bunny's hop...just sayin'
3- While the cost of these beds was more than finding scrap wood and building our own, we felt that because they are made of galvanized steel, they would last much longer.
4- We really liked the way they looked.
5- Because there is no bottom, the drainage will be satisfactory and root rot would not be a problem.

Roy's Thoughts: I really enjoyed assembling this Panacea Raised Garden Bed (Model #83475). There were 32 nuts and bolts to use for each garden bed and assembly was pretty easy. All three garden beds were assembled in about one hour. I would give the Panacea Raised Garden Bed an "A" rating. The tools needed for this job was a Philips (cross-tip) screwdriver and an adjustable wrench. Kim and I hope that this review will be helpful.
